Employment Opportunity: Research Associate — Teacher Quality

The Center for Research, Evaluation, and Advancement of Teacher Education (CREATE) seeks applications for two positions of Research Associate – Teacher Quality. CREATE is a research and development consortium of thirty-four universities across five university systems in Texas. The Center’s work focuses on the improvement of university teacher preparation programs through multi-system research and development programs focusing on teacher education practices and the effects of these practices on public school improvement and student achievement. The responsibilities of CREATE’s Research Associates for Teacher Quality positions include data collection as a member of a research team, data preparation and analysis, design and maintenance of databases associated with research projects and writing (as sole or co-author) reports and publications. The successful candidate must work effectively as a member of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
